Baker Oil Tools’ Frac-Point™ System provides operators with the ability to pinpoint fluid placement and volume during open-hole fracturing operations. This cost-effective system provides open-hole isolation between zones, zone lobes or fault lines so that fracture fluid is delivered where needed to maximize its effect.
Advantages
- One-trip installation saving rig time
- Rotation and torque-through capabilities through entire system
- Proven packer and sleeve technology
- Extensive ball and seat testing to ensure seal during high-pressure bottom hole fractures
- Patented anti-extrusion element system to ensure pack off in variable hole geometries
Additional Information
The
Frac-Point™ System is deployed as a one-trip installation and set in place by the application of hydraulic pressure. The isolation and liner-top packers are set against a ball seat in the shoe of the liner. The rig can then be moved to another location and the fracture treatment pumped when ready. Successive ball sizes are dropped to open their corresponding sleeves. Desired fracture volumes can be displaced with timing of the ball releases to accurately place fracture fluid in each interval. The ball seats in the sleeves can be later drilled out to a full open string ID.
